Cress - The Lunar Chronicles
Cress has grown up in isolation, trapped on an artificial satellite since childhood. Her only company has been the computer screens around her. The time she's spent with computers has turned Cress into an expert hacker. Unfortunately, she is forced to work for Queen Levana and has just received orders to track down Cinder and her handsome guide. Cinder and Captain Thorne are on the run. Together with Scarlet and Wolf, they plan to overthrow Queen Levana and prevent her army from invading Earth.
Cress is the one person who can help Cinder and her companions. However, a daring attempt to rescue her fails, and the group is split up. Cress finally has her freedom, but it comes at a higher price than she could ever have imagined. And Queen Levana will not let anyone stand in the way of her marriage to Emperor Kai. Although Cress, Scarlet and Cinder don't feel called to save the world, it seems they are the only hope the world has.
“What a ride! Even without reading the final volume, I think I can call this series one of the best I've ever read. An excellent story that pulls you in, likeable characters who you just can't help but love, a beautifully readable writing style, and an original take on the story. ”
