Diary of a light girl
You wouldn't guess I'm a prostitute
I study at university, take the tram, eat in the canteen, wear clothes from H&M and have a loving family. At first glance, I'm just an ordinary girl. The only thing that separates me from my peers is that I work as an escort at night. And no one in my life has any idea. In this book, I reveal the world of sex for money – its rules and its everyday reality. How did I get started? What's it like to have sex with complete strangers? How are prices and meetings arranged, what do clients really want, what fetishes do they bring behind closed doors, and why do men who have wives at home often pay for sex with escorts? This is the story of my 'other' secret life. A life that thousands of other girls in the Czech Republic are living. And maybe it's also the story of someone you meet every day – you just have no idea what they do at night.
What they wrote about the book:
Diary of a Call Girl is not a book about prostitution. It's a book about people. About men who are no longer heard at home. About a young woman who chose a life that most of us would judge. About money, which solves many problems… but not all of them. And above all, about a society that is very quick to judge the decisions of others without ever asking about their story.
