How to use Nero 6

Nero Burning Rom (hereafter referred to as Nero) is one of the most popular and widely used CD and DVD burning programs. Nowadays, the prices of burning drives for both CDs and DVDs have dropped to such a level that almost anyone who already owns a computer can buy one. However, the burning drive itself is useless to the user, software is needed for burning. And Nero is one of the best programs currently available. The book is intended for a complete beginner who has almost no experience with burning. However, at least basic knowledge of the Windows operating system is required for successful burning. The introductory chapter deals with the media (CD and DVD), the hardware (burning drives) and the principle of burning. The second chapter is devoted to the description of the program, its installation and the first launch. The author also describes the basic settings of the program and introduces the reader to the basic burning procedures. The third chapter describes burning CDs (Data Audio and Video CDs). The fourth chapter focuses on burning DVDs (data and video). In the last chapter, the author describes how to check burned discs, how to create covers, and hints at other program options.
