Karel Čapek: Povetron (2018)
"Whatever we are looking at is that thing and at the same time something of us, something of our own and personal; our knowledge of the world and people is something like our confession. " Karel Čapek's noetic trilogy consists of the novels Hordubal, Povětroň and Obyčejný život. In Povetron, Karel Čapek shows how much his own fate and personality influence his view of the world. And so the story of the unknown airman is told by three different characters over his hospital bed: a clairvoyant, a nun and a poet. Three equally likely stories emerge, but the truth remains hidden. The continuation of the Čapek trilogy with Igor Bareš.
