Kinesiotaping for athletes
The book is a practical tool for all athletes, coaches and physiotherapists who often encounter injuries and deal with their consequences. The method of gluing coloured strips to the skin yields unexpectedly excellent results. This non-invasive method, by applying a tap, affects the muscle tension (tone) in the affected area, thus reducing pain, engaging the correct movement stereotype and relieving pressure on the affected segment. The book has the advantage of photographs of individual taping strokes on specific patients with the described diagnosis and the principles of action. The authors are physiotherapists and trainers with practical experience in the use of kinesiotaping in the Czech Republic and abroad and are among the "pioneers" of this method in sports in the Czech Republic.
