Lasking and scalping
TV presenter Alice and her husband Čestmír, along with publishing editor Luboš and his wife Helena, were classmates at primary school and have known each other for almost forty years. When they embark on a weekend trip to the wine cellars of South Moravia together, none of them could have imagined the catastrophe their lives are heading towards. Before leaving, Luboš received a devastating diagnosis from his doctor, and dark clouds are gathering over Čestmír's political career due to a corruption scandal—and that's just the tip of the iceberg. Forty years of friendship also means forty years of secrets and pretence.
