Last task for Gwendy

It brings death and destruction

When Gwenda Peterson was twelve years old, a stranger named Richard Farris gave her a mysterious box for safekeeping. She offered treats and old coins, but she was also dangerous. Pressing any of the seven coloured buttons brought death and destruction. A few years later, the box re-entered her life. As a successful writer and rising political star, Gwendy was once again forced to deal with the temptation she represented - a wonderful sense of well-being balanced by a frighteningly dark urge to cause disaster. In the third and final book, Gwendy Peterson, now a United States Senator, struggles with the early symptoms of Alzheimer's disease, which she tries to hide. But a much more challenging task awaits her, a secret mission to save the world.
