Midwife from Auschwitz

An angel of hope in the death camps. The story of a woman who saved thousands of children.

The next transport of prisoners goes to Auschwitz. Among them is Stanisława Leszczyńska, a midwife from Lodz who, at her own request, begins to work in inhumane conditions: without water, basic medical tools and medication. The births take place on a stove covered with an old blanket. Many times he risks his life by defying the ruthless orders of Josef Mengele. He does everything he can to protect children from his cruel experiments. She tries to be a support for mothers whose children have been forcibly taken away and sent to the Reich. Or death.

Midwife from Auschwitz is a dramatic story inspired by the heroic fate of Stanisława Leszczyńska. She performed thousands of births in the concentration camp, during which no child or woman died.
