The Munster case brings a thrilling whodunit from the three-time winner of the Best Swedish Crime Novel
When four pensioners celebrate winning the lottery, the alcohol flows. The giddy joy, however, does not last long. A few hours after the party, one of the seniors is found dead. He was stabbed from behind right in his apartment.
Commissioner Münster takes up the case, as Van Veeteren has taken a year off and is doing quiet work in an antique shop. But none of his colleagues believe he can just stop investigating. And indeed, Münster soon turns to him for advice as the case becomes more and more mysterious. After some time, the widow of the murdered man confesses to the crime. But Van Veeteren is sure the woman is lying.
They wrote about the book
Luxurious work. I couldn't sleep after I finished reading it. It's not for nothing that Nesser is a three-time winner of the Nordic Crime Fiction Award.

I liked the book very much, as usual with this author. There just wasn't enough of Commissioner Van Veeteren for my taste: -)
