"Rudy Linka swapped the guitar for a computer keyboard for a while and played it with the same ease and sincerity as the guitar. This book is not good. is great." Jiří Suchý
"I have often listened with interest and sometimes fascination (in Prague, New York or Šumava) to Rudy's stories, which Jarda Dušek introduced me to more than twenty years ago. And I laughed: this boy is a loser and a loser! But then I somehow realized that one ruin in Šumava had become the most beautiful cottage I've ever seen, and the beginning of an unrealistic dream had turned into the biggest and best jazz festival in our country - Bohemia Jazz Fest. And that 'misfit' is one of the most capable and creative people I've ever met in my life." Jan Hřebejk
