The man who died twice

The sequel to the successful detective comedy, The Thursday Murder Club.

Elizabeth, Joyce, Ron and Ibrahim – The Thursday Murder Club – are still buzzing from their recent real-life murder case and are looking forward to a bit of peace and quiet in Coopers Chase, a luxury retirement village.
But their hopes are in vain.
An unexpected visitor appears – an old acquaintance of Elizabeth's (or perhaps more than just an acquaintance) – and desperately asks for their help. He has been accused of stealing diamonds worth many millions by dangerous people, and now he must go into hiding.
And then the first body appears. But not the last. Elizabeth, Joyce, Ron and Ibrahim are once again up against a merciless killer who would eliminate all four septuagenarians without a second thought. Can our four friends get the murderer before the murderer gets them? And what if they find the stolen diamonds too? Well, wouldn't that be a fantastic reward? With The Thursday Murder Club, anything is possible.
Richard Osman returns with his beloved quartet of amateur detectives, and the next instalment in the series is just as witty and charming as the first – you won't be able to put it down and you'll laugh out loud.
Just like the first book in the series – The Thursday Murder Club – The Man Who Died Twice is a book that successfully combines the best of classic English detective stories with the best of English humour; and it has once again been exceptionally successful in Great Britain – 114,202 copies were sold in the first three days of its release.
