The White Lady

The White Lady is a thriller from an unusual setting, with unusual characters

Or maybe it's just the other way around, because the Slovakian Kysuce and the schoolgirl Miska are completely ordinary... Who would have expected them to play out a story so suspenseful that it will make you hold your breath and chill your bones, even if you read it on the beach? Especially when you realize that it's based on real events.

Against the backdrop of the 2012 snow calamity, we follow the struggle for life of a student, Miska. She is assisted by Patrícia, the operations officer of the Žilina Fire and Rescue Department, and professional and volunteer rescuers. But who stands against them? Is the one-eyed magpie just a poor bird or an evil omen? Is someone choosing human sacrifices in the mountains?
