The fifth installment of the giant Dark Tower saga that Stephen King has been writing since his student days.
The Dark Tower series describes the journey of the main (anti-)hero Roland Deschain of Gilead, the last "gunslinger", in his search for the Dark Tower.
In this episode, Ronald and his Ka-tet once again embark on a journey to find the Dark Tower. But they are surprised by villagers from nearby Calla and ask for help. For the pistoliers of the house of Eld are known not to refuse requests for help. The village is plagued by "wolf" raids that take place every 21 years. During these raids, the wolves always take one of all the twins that are born in Calla. Roland discovers that the village priest is hiding the Black Thirteen under the floorboards. On top of that, time does what it wants. The days are not as long as they used to be, and even a small delay can thwart the quest for the Dark Tower.
Stephen King
If we talk about Stephen King, we have to talk about him as one of the most prolific, best-read and best-selling writers and graphomaniacs of modern times. He has published over 70 titles (some under the pseudonym Richard Bachman), specialises in horror and many of his books and short stories have been made into films. His most famous works include the Carrie books, It, The Dead Zone, the Dark Tower series, and The Curse of Salem. His works are the basis for films such as The Shawshank Redemption and The Green Mile. He is from Portland, Maine, and it is said that he is the one who spread the phobia of clowns - coulrophobia - with his book It.
Libor Terš
You can know Libor Terš by his typically tinted voice rather than by his photo. He has been dubbing all his life and has dubbed dozens of characters in TV series and films during his career. Among the most famous are Dr. James Wilson from Dr. House, Detective Frank Tripp from Miami Vice. You can also hear it in many Hollywood films, including Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, How to Train Your Dragon, Armageddon and Madagascar. Audiotheque lent its voice to the loading of Stephen King's Dark Tower series.
