Its superior optical design creates exceptionally sharp images even in poor lighting conditions and Nikon's Nano Crystal Coat dramatically reduces ghosting and flare. Its high aperture ensures bright image and Nikon's Silent Wave Motor takes care of fast and quiet autofocus. The lens is ideal for Nikon FX formats and raises the bar for wide-angle photography quality.
The 9-blade diaphragm with an almost perfectly circular opening reproduces out of focus image parts with pleasant softness, while Nikon’s SWM (Silent Wave Motor) ensures quiet and fast autofocus. The lens’ rugged mechanical design made of magnesium alloy and fitted with a rubber seal around the mount ensures long service life even with frequent use. The lens comes with a soft carry case for easy storage and portability.
