NIKKOR 70-300mm F4.5-6.3G AF-P DX ED

This high-performance lens has been designed for both digital and film SLRs. The lens achieves 4.3x zoom at a focal length range of 70 to 300mm (105 to 450mm for DX format). The AF-P lens delivers faster, quieter operation due to its advanced stepper motor, so it can be used for remote video shooting in addition to shooting. An optimised shape curtain gives the natural appearance of the blurred background to highlight the main subject of the photo.

Key features

  • Powerful telephoto lens for AF-P
  • Fast and silent autofocus with fast switching to manual focus
  • ED glass to minimise aberration across the full range of focal lengths
  • An optimised shape curtain for natural-looking background blur

Constant quality

The lens incorporates an ultra-low light scatter (ED) lens to provide excellent optical performance without the usual deformation. Above all, it suppresses all aberrations. These cause sharp edges of the transitions especially at the corners of the image. Advanced optical correction ensures perfect rendering in all parts of the field of view.

Nikon’s beginnings date back to 1917 in Japan. At first, the company mainly produced lenses - telescopes, binoculars, microscopes and other small, optical equipment. Soon the company expanded its portfolio, producing photographic lenses under the Nikkor brand.

In the field of cameras, particularly among professionals, Nikon quickly gained a reputation as a top manufacturer, which continues today. Its cameras were even included in the equipment of American spacecraft. Nikon designed and produced the legendary Nikon SP 1957, regarded by many as the best camera of all time.
