The cover looks nice, but it's not rubber. It's hard plastic. I sincerely doubt it will protect the phone from anything other than scratches. In the event of a fall, all the energy of the fall would still be transferred to the phone. In my case, after 3 months of normal wear and no falls, it broke into pieces. Fortunately, the complaint was accepted.
