This manual, ultra wide-angle lens provides outstanding optical performance at a price affordable for everyone. Even at the maximum aperture of F/2.8, the image quality remains excellent up to the edges of the image frame. It is, therefore, suitable for landscape photography, amateur and professional photographers, where the lens manages to shoot natural-looking images both on bright sunny days and when it is overcast. The optical design is perfect for use with SLR cameras with the full-frame or APS-C sensors.

Sophisticated Optics

The optical construction consists of 14 elements in 10 groups. Among them, there are three elements with a high refractive index, two ED elements, hybrid aspherical lens and aspherical glass to effectively reduce chromatic aberration. The hybrid aspherical lenses provide excellent image contrast spread over the entire image field. The application of the special UMC coating (Ultra Multi Coating) reduces flare and ghosting. You´ll be able to capture images with vivid and bright colours.
