For all fans of strategic thinking, which were last pleasantly surprised by how great it turned out reworking the original concept into a new jacket, comes the sequel, which promises to be even bigger, and especially epičtějším hratelnějším. Already you can begin to sharpen pencils, because your strategic skills will be tested to the very maximum, if you try to fight a seemingly hopeless battle against unwanted visitors from space that once again threatens to destroy all mankind.

The country is no longer what it used to be

Since the defeat of the troops fled the planet Earth for 22 years and XCOM, the last line of defense lies in ruins. Countries now operate alien forces that are building shining cities, seemingly serving as a refuge of mankind through generations, while secretly concocting plans for complete domination of the planet and all life on it. This again will try to prevent an elite unit XCOM, which must rise from the ashes, reveal the terrible truth and eliminate the threat of alien forces once and for all.

XCOM on the run

Assume the leadership of the Avenger, extraterrestrial supply vessel, which has been converted into a mobile XCOM headquarters. From there you will deploy its units around the world, gathering allies and detect rogue plans aliens. Operate the new units and fight anyhow discover a new alien races and hybrids of human DNA and show unwanted visitors that the country is still strong and full of determination.

The purchased product key must be activated in Steam:

1) Go to https://store.steampowered.com/ and click on the green button that says "Install Steam".
2) Install and run the Steam client and log in with your existing account or create a new one.
3) Click "Add Game" at the bottom left corner of the screen and then select "Activate a Product on Steam"
4) The "Product Activation" window will pop up. Follow the onscreen instructions and enter your purchased code.
5) Once the activation is complete, you can find the new game in your "Library" tab.
6) Press the blue "Install" button to install the game.

Môžeme buď lamentovať nad tým, že Switch je v posledných rokoch zaplavovaný najrôznejšími portami starších hier, alebo sa radovať z toho, že si svoje obľúbené kúsky môžeme zahrať tiež napríklad na cestách. S akým prístupom sa vrhnete do čítania tejto recenzie, je čisto na vás, koniec koncov na túto problematiku v nej odpoveď nenájdete. Dozviete sa však, ako sa port známej ťahovej stratégie z roku 2016 podarilo previesť na hybridnú konzolu Nintendo Switch.

Desperados 3 (RECENZIA) – Prvá ostrá výprava Johna Coopera

Kým sa niektoré vývojárske štúdiá snažia púšťať do sveta jednu novú značku za druhou, iné naopak siahajú po dávno zabudnutých hrách, na ktorých pokračovanie čakajú fanúšikovia už niekoľko rokov. Oznámenie Desperados 3 pre nás bolo preto príjemným prekvapením, pretože len málokto veril v jeho návrat. Mimimi Games sa však rozhodli, že si na westernovú taktickú stratégiu skúsia staviť, vďaka čomu tu teraz máme recenziu prezentujúcu silné a slabé stránky ich diela.
