The SSD provides a dramatic performance boost for all devices that work with data. The key difference lies in their lack of any moving components and a completely new data processing system. This translates to better durability and improved resistance to shocks and bumps. Another advantage of the SSD is minimal noise and considerably reduced power consumption. The Corsair Force Series MP510 1920GB SSD includes a unique 3D NAND chip. This chip type is known for its vertical tiered shape, resembling tiny towers. For most SSD models, the manufacturer lists their endurance in terabytes written (TBW). The Corsair Force Series MP510 1920GB solid state drive has a TBW of 3120 TBW.
