Why Should You Consider a SSD?
The SSD introduced a tremendous performance boost for all types of computers. The difference lies in the absence of any moving components and a completely new data processing system. This translates to enhanced resistance to normal bumps and shocks. Another advantage of the solid state drive is near-silent operation and significantly reduced power consumption. The Corsair Force Series MP600 500GB SSD includes a special 3D NAND chip. This chip type is notable for its vertical multilayered shape, resembling tiny skyscrapers. For most SSD models, the manufacturer lists their lifespan in the so-called terabytes written (TBW). The Corsair Force Series MP600 500GB SSD has a TBW of 850 TBW.
