Power the camera
The EZVIZ HB8 2K+ camera boasts an unrivalled 10,400mAh battery, and where other cameras are limited by the availability of electrical power, the EZVIZ HB8 2K+ offers essentially unlimited possibilities. The battery life is an incredible 210 days and, if needed, the camera can be equipped with a solar panel to provide constant power from the sun's rays. Plus, you will no longer have to think about when to charge the camera.
Advanced human motion detection
Colour night vision with a range of up to 15 metres is a matter of course. Thanks to the integration of a PIR sensor and a human silhouette detection algorithm, the EZVIZ HB8 2K+ camera is smart enough to alert you to moving people without bothering you with false alarms caused by insignificant objects. In addition, the camera tracks detected individuals throughout the entire activity. An active defence feature is also included to provide an extra layer of protection. Upon detecting an intruder, the EEZVIZ HB8 2K+ camera will set off a loud siren and flash two dazzling spotlights to let uninvited visitors know they have been detected.
Intuitive control and two-way communication
Recordings can be stored on the integrated 32GB eMMC storage, which can hold 10-minute recordings from each day for up to 6 months. You can also use the EZVIZ cloud protocol. Access to the EZVIZ HB8 2K+ camera is provided by the EZVIZ Studio software (for Windows) or the EZVIZ mobile app (Android and iOS). This allows you to check what is happening at your home at any time. You will also be pleased with its compatibility with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa voice assistants, or the integrated speaker and microphone for two-way voice communication.
The EZVIZ HB8 2K+ is very durable
The EZVIZ HB8 2K+ camera also boasts a weather-resistant (IP65) design. You can always count on the camera to work regardless of the weather – in rain, dust or snow.

An enhanced viewing experience with smaller video files
Compared to the prevailing H.264 video compression technology, H.265 creates a smoother viewing experience for recorded videos. At the same time, you don't have to worry about large video files taking up too much storage space – the H.265 format reduces the amount of data stored by up to 50%. In addition, all transmitted information is encrypted using 128-bit AES encryption, the TLS protocol and multi-step authentication.

The design of the IP camera determines its physical construction and design, which then influences where it will be placed and for what purposes it will be used. For example, Dome cameras are discreet and suitable for indoors, while Bullet cameras are ideal for outdoor use. PTZ cameras offer the ability to move and zoom, making them suitable for large-scale surveillance systems.
Night vision for IP cameras, which is crucial for monitoring in dim or dark conditions, offers different modes: classic black and white, color for low light and hybrid, which allows switching according to lighting conditions.
The maximum range of eye vision determines how far the camera can effectively detect and record images at night or in low light conditions. This characteristic is particularly important for night vision and is affected by both the quality of the camera sensors and the strength of the infrared illumination.
Zooming in IP cameras allows you to zoom in or out for better visualization of details or a wider view. Optical zoom provides higher image quality when zooming, while digital zoom magnifies the image electronically.
There are two main types of lenses - fixed and varifocal. Fixed lenses have a fixed focal length and provide a constant angle of view, which is useful for viewing specific, unchanging areas. On the other hand, varifocal lenses allow manual or automatic focal length changes, allowing users to adjust the angle of view and image zoom as needed.
