The French Revolution

In the spring of 1793, a small town near Paris was living a quiet life, with nothing to suggest that a revolution was raging in France. Meeting the most educated and progressive ladies of the time was interesting, but, to be honest, also a little boring. Bara was quite glad to find herself back in her own time relatively quickly. But... But then she found out that many of her new friends were in danger of being guillotined, and she decided to go back to warn them. In the meantime, however, the Jacobins had come to power in France – and now it's Bara whose life is on the line...

In her books, historian Veronika Válková transports readers into real, actual history, where they experience thrilling moments with Bara, while also learning a great deal.
