Intel Core i7-8700K @ 5.3 OC PRETESTED DELID

Intel launches the 8th generation of Intel Core processors, code name Coffee Lake. It has a very similar architecture to the previous, successful Kaby Lake series. However, Intel has worked on various optimisations, resulting in an Intel Core i7-8700K processor that delivers real-world performance while maintaining low energy consumption.

The Coffee Lake architecture is based on a 14nm manufacturing node. The demanding manufacturing is handled by Intel with utterly stunning perfection, offering the Intel Core i7-8700K processor an excellent price/performance ratio. For the first time ever, the Intel chip has six powerful cores. The increase in the number of cores is accompanied by higher working frequencies.

What does DELID mean?

This process is a relatively sophisticated adjustment to the CPU itself. Intel has used a relatively common heat conductive paste between the chip and the heat transfer, with the result that local overheating of the processor during overclocking can happen in a matter of seconds. Michal Mikle safely processes ("unwraps") the processor by applying the paste and then reseals everything into its original form. The result is a noticeable drop in temperature during its maximum load.

Due to the unlocked multiplier, this processor is suitable for games with overclocking. All you need to do is install a suitable cooler, have enough memory, and use a suitable piece of silicon. Accessing data is facilitated by a fast 12MB L3 cache, which provides the cores enough time to respond instantly to all applications.

Motherboard Compatibility

The Intel Coffee Lake platform contains quite a few improvements over the previous generation of processors, so Intel has decided to take a rather unusual step. Although this processor uses the well-known socket 1151, it will require a new motherboard, specifically, a model with the Intel 3XX chipset.

dvojnasobná cena za taktovanú a delidovanu i7 ?..to ako važne ? ako chapem že v tom je zaruka aj ked je delidovaný ale tato cena je prehanana 450 € by bolo podla mna rozumne k tomu že zaklad stoji 360...možno aj tých 450 by bolo vela....prečo je taky drahy ?

rodinnemu delidovacovi sa dostal do ruk obzvlast podareny kremik :) kde dalsie 2% vykonu stoja dalsich 20% ceny :) ano 1-vlaknovy a malo-vlaknovy vykon toho 6C12T procesora je sice uchvatny, akurat od AMD je v cene necelych 800 € nadupany 12C24T procesor a cochvila aj 16C32T procesor
