A Lesson in Pretence

Athalia Pressley wants nothing more than her twin brother’s affection. Since their parents’ death, Henry has barely given her the time of day – until she’s on the verge of failing school and needs a tutor. This brings her into the arms of Henry’s enemy, university star pupil Dylan. Suddenly, Athalia has Henry’s full attention – and if she wants to keep it, she’ll need Dylan McCarthy Williams’s help.

Athalia isn’t exactly a fan of Dylan, her brother’s rival on the football team – she dislikes his slick remarks, his confident tone, and his know-it-all attitude. His perfect hairstyle, dreamy deep eyes, and the toned body of a university football player don't help either. Athalia just wants to win Henry back, so she and Dylan make a deal to fake date to provoke him.

However, things get completely out of hand. The convenient arrangement gradually transforms into a fateful attraction full of witty and touching situations. Pretend love slowly blossoms into real love, and Athalia, Dylan, and Henry count down the seconds to the New Year at a big New Year's Eve party…
