A wicked gentleman
When love comes with danger
An irresistible and dangerous alpha male with a secret. A fragile and broken woman in great pain. She's the only one who can get close to him - if they can both protect each other from their demons.
Izzy White knows a lot about the darkness of this world. After all, she escaped from it long ago and is now determined not to let her past catch up with her. She has a stable life with a beloved job as a nurse. But one selfless act of help for a girl in need completely upends everything she has so carefully built...
When Theo Kane appears as a knight in shining armour, Izzy is sure the man is a danger. His imposing stature, rugged features and demeanor towards anyone who approaches him are just a few clues that he is not to be trifled with. But he treats Izzy with tenderness and as a complete gentleman, and her fascination with the mysterious male beast is too strong to walk away from him.
When Theo's secrets come out, Izzy can't leave. But staying together could be the road to ruin for both of them...
Malpas Ellen Jodi
Jodi Ellen Malpas was born in the UK, where she still lives with her family. She worked full-time in the family construction business with the prospect of one day taking it over, and for a long time she resisted the insistent idea of writing a novel. Eventually, however, she found the time and courage to self-publish the first volume of the This Man trilogy as an e-book in October 2012. After her phenomenal success, Jodi decided to quit her job and focus on her new, unexpectedly successful writing career.
