How deep must Josie Quinn dig to find the truth? The new audiobook from Lisa Regan, Buried Bones, from the Josie Quinn detective series.
Detective Josie Quinn is looking forward to a quiet dinner with her boyfriend, Noah, at his mother's house. But when they arrive, they find her in the garden behind the house. Lifeless, with her mouth full of soil.
The investigation turns up a plethora of mysterious fragments and clues that Josie's team can't make sense of, from a rosary buried in the dirt near Colette Fraley's body to a flash drive bearing the name Drew Pratt, the most famous missing person in Denton.
As Josie delves deeper into the Pratt case, she quickly discovers that he had a brother. He, too, was missing until his body was washed up by the river. As more and more connections begin to emerge, Josie starts to have her doubts. Is it possible that Noah's mother, the kind and respectable Colette, was involved in a crime? And will her fragile relationship with Noah survive such an accusation?
Josie and her team are slowly making progress in their investigation, but this time the killer is one step ahead of them, and the number of victims keeps growing. It's clear that the perpetrator will not stop until their and Colette's secret is buried forever. How deep is Josie prepared to dig to find the truth?
