What hides in the lake

Detective Chief Inspector Jack Logan has had enough of life in gloomy Glasgow, where past failures and mistakes lie in wait around every corner. He requests a transfer, looking forward to a quiet life in the countryside. But his dreams are quickly shattered when the waters of Loch Ness wash a mutilated female body ashore.

While the media wildly speculates about monster attacks, Jack believes the killer has just two arms and two legs. After all, as he knows all too well, monsters are only made of flesh and blood. He and the main investigation team must act fast to catch the perpetrator before they can strike again.

But with Nessie hunters flocking to the area in their droves and an old enemy rearing its ugly head, this case might just prove to be the most challenging of Jack's career.

And if he's not careful, his last.

Death and dark humour combine in this fast-paced Tartan Noir crime thriller set in the Scottish Highlands.
