Tales from the Crypt

Diaries on the Fate of Seven Paratroopers Hiding in the Heart of Nazi-Occupied Prague

Diaries that could never have been written, but whose creation was inspired by historical facts and documents, the memories of witnesses, and the letters and diaries of the fallen participants in these events.

The book uses an authentic format to depict the tense moments after the assassination of Reinhard Heydrich, leading up to the famous seven-hour battle of the seven paratroopers against overwhelming odds in the Church of Saints Cyril and Methodius on Resslova Street.

A story inspired by the genius loci of the place where these men actually hid for the last twenty-one days of their lives.
