The frozen body of a young woman raises many questions and few answers. The first case for Erika Foster from bestselling author Robert Bryndza.
When a young woman’s body is discovered under a thick sheet of ice in a South London park, Detective Chief Inspector Erika Foster is called in to lead the murder investigation. The victim, a beautiful young socialite from a powerful and wealthy family, appeared to have the perfect life. But as Erika begins to dig deeper, she starts to connect the victim’s murder to the deaths of three prostitutes, all found strangled, their hands bound, and dumped in water around London.
What is the connection between the daughter of an influential lobbyist, who thinks he can interfere with the investigation, and the dead immigrant women? What dark secrets is the girl in the ice hiding?
The closer Erika gets to the truth, the closer the killer gets to Erika. DCI Foster’s last case ended in disaster, with her own husband among the five officers killed. With her career hanging by a thread, she must battle her own personal demons as well as a killer more deadly than any she’s faced before. Will she catch them before they strike again?
