Hidden behind a lie
Life writes different stories. Death sometimes adds a shocking twist.
Emilia Ward lives in a quiet London suburb. At first glance, she is an ordinary wife and mother of two, but she is also a famous author. As she writes the tenth instalment of her detective series, her life takes an unexpected and dangerous turn when a scene from her book plays out in real life. Then, someone dies in the exact same way as the victim in the book she is currently finishing. Why is someone doing this to her? Who could possibly know what she is writing? And how long will it take before the culprit stages the final twist of her dark story?
Another gripping and suspenseful thriller from the popular author Claire Douglas.
