Almost fifteen years old Katka spends most of her time alone and likes to read. And she likes to eat, too. Her classmates think she's weird. But Katka knows that everything will be different at high school, and right after the entrance exams she makes a resolution: lose weight.
At first it is just an attempt to adjust her lifestyle, but gradually it turns out that the path to her dream "new self" is not as easy as she imagined. Katka's desire for change starts to get out of hand. Things really do change in high school - just a little differently than she expected.
An authentic story about growing up, the search for one's own identity and the path to self-acceptance. Although anorexia plays one of the main roles in it, the most important part is - as is usual with Petra Soukupová - interpersonal relationships.
I'm fat, I read all the time, and I don't have any friends. But all that will change when I get to high school. First of all, I'm gonna lose weight. And I'm not gonna keep reading. And I'm gonna make a friend. I won't be weird anymore.
