Lord of the mountains

The sequel to the popular sci-fi series Legion by František Kotleta and Kristýna Sněgoňová

The youngest crew member of the spaceship Kraksna has disappeared. While Captain Moravec and Lieutenant Vojcechovsky are away on their missions, the search for her falls to technician Vodička and the Italian singer Giuseppe. But picking her up from a planet of giant sandworms is no walk in the park, and the pair must prove they’re not over the hill just yet. To save Amanda, they have to survive in a space circus arena, avoid a vengeful Loyd seeking retribution for the loss of his testicle – that is, his antimatter – and meet the Lord of the Mountains, the legendary leader of the resistance against the Enlil Empire, who needs their help. All this accompanied by sharp Ostrava-dialect swearing and a heartfelt recital of arias from Don Giovanni. Because “Starò qui come agnellina le tue botte ad aspettar, you blue bastards!”

Welcome to a universe where humanity's last hope for saving an occupied planet is the cargo ship Kraksna and its distinctive crew. A universe created by Kristýna Sněgoňová and František Kotleta that is as dark, cruel, and entertaining as Professor Krasiński allows.
