How to get inside the mind of a serial killer.
Audiobook based on the book of the successful series of the same name.
John Douglas, an FBI agent, in the late 1970s, in an effort to help advance the field of crime fiction, decided to delve into the psychology of murder and come disturbingly close to the real monsters. He has tracked down some of the most notorious and sadistic criminals of our time: after killers as infamous as the Trailside Killer in San Francisco and the Atlanta Child Killer. He has confronted, interviewed, and examined the psyches of dozens of serial killers, including Charles Manson, Richard Speck, and many others. He studied them - entered their minds - to understand their motives.
John Douglas is the man who prefigured the legendary FBI agent Jack Crawford in the thrillers Red Dragon and Silence of the Lambs, and the man who ushered in a new age in behavioral science and criminal profiling. John Douglas served in the police force for over twenty years, and it was only when he retired from the force that he was finally able to tell his unique story.
The Mindhunter series, based on the book, is one of the most watched and highest-rated series on CSFD and was co-written by well-known director David Fincher (Seven, Fight Club, Zodiac, Intruder 3).
