This book, designed for training paramedics, presents newly developed and updated nursing procedures. It is enhanced with QR codes that link to educational videos, providing detailed visual demonstrations of selected nursing procedures.
The videos were filmed at the General University Hospital in Prague, which provided not only the necessary facilities and equipment but also access to areas of the hospital that students would not normally be able to enter. This gives them an authentic insight into the hospital's operations, such as central sterilisation, the pneumatic tube system, the transfusion station facilities, and the biochemistry laboratory.
The videos also include animations to visualise procedures, such as inserting a catheter into a vein.
