Šárka Jordanová has been coping for years with the loss of her daughter, who disappeared ten years ago under unclear circumstances. She is desperate to become a mother again and is willing to do anything to do so. Nearby, the forgotten case of five-year-old Zuzana, who has been missing since 1968 and whose fate should have remained buried, emerges from the past. Two intertwined stories, two mothers and one pain that refuses to subside.
