If Josie Quinn wants to save more lives, she must figure out who is hiding a dark secret. Can Josie clear the fog of lies in time?
The answer comes in the next audiobook from bestselling author Lisa Regan, in a compelling performance by Jitka Ježková.
When seven-year-old Lucy Ross is snatched from a merry-go-round in Denton's town park, Detective Josie Quinn and her team launch an intensive search. It is Josie who finds Lucy’s sparkly butterfly rucksack, with a devastating message stuffed inside: Answer your phone, or your little girl will die.
The next day, Lucy’s parents, the police team, and the FBI get a brief glimmer of hope when they answer a call, thinking it’s the nanny – but instead, a chilling male voice is on the line. The police rush to the nanny’s flat, only to find her lifeless body tangled in the bedsheets.
Each new phone call from someone connected to the family ends with the shocking discovery of another body. The twisted killer is clearly out for revenge and will not stop until the Ross family is on its knees.
Josie's intuition tells her that Lucy's parents are not telling her the whole truth, but something is still preventing her from delving deeper into the case. Is it perhaps her own secret? Is Josie strong enough to solve this case? If she wants to bring Lucy home alive, she has no choice.
