Mojmír Mráz and his assistants gradually discover that the case is far more complex than it first appeared. The murderer, who sees himself as the embodiment of the sun, leaves behind clues and traces as if to lead his pursuers to the discovery of another, much more terrifying crime…
ONDŘEJ S. NEČAS
He graduated from the Faculty of Informatics at Masaryk University in Brno and currently works at the university's publishing house, which focuses on publications in Braille. He also occasionally teaches logic. As an author, he first made a name for himself in the fantasy genre (the trilogy about Captain Ambrož, two episodes of the popular series Kladivo na čaroděje (A Hammer for Witches)). More recently, he has focused on fairy tales (O princezně trochu zakleté (The Slightly Cursed Princess), Čarodějův odkaz (The Wizard's Legacy)). Detective and historical elements are woven to a greater or lesser extent through most of Nečas's work, which he has fully utilised in his series of historical detective stories featuring Knight Mojmír Mráz of Žezlice.
Ondřej S. Nečas lives in Brno with his wife and three children.
JIŘÍ SCHWARZ
An actor and voice artist, he was born in Prague, where he also studied at the State Conservatoire. After graduating, he was engaged at the State Theatre in Ostrava from 1980–1982 and at the Švanda Theatre from 1982 to 1991. Since the 1990s, he has performed at the Prague City Theatres. He has acted in many television films, fairy tales, and series. He also works in dubbing and audiobook narration.
