Slow burning fire

Crime novel Slow Burning Fire by the bestselling author of The Girl on the Train

When a young man is found brutally murdered on a riverboat in London, three women who knew him are thrust into the spotlight. Laura, a spirited oddball who many people think is dangerous, spent her last night with Daniel before his death. His neighbor Miriam knows, that even though Laura left the scene with blood on her clothes, it doesn't necessarily mean that she's a murderess - bitter experience taught Miriam, what it means, being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Thirdly, there is Carla, the aunt of the murdered man, who is still mourning the recent death of another family member. He doesn't trust anyone - after all, even good people can be capable of terrible acts. Three women who have nothing in common except the resentment they felt for the murdered man... How long can wrongs and old secrets smoulder before they burst into a fierce flame?
