PAVEL BAREŠ He lives close enough to Prague to consider himself a Prague resident, but far enough away that they ask him for a Zone 1 ticket on suburban buses. By day, he is an English teacher; by night, an avid video game player and comic book reader, a traveller, a yachtsman, a devoted Browncoat, and a lover of storytelling RPGs. He doesn't sing in a band, but he used to have one. He used to get Fs in composition at school for going off-topic. Today, his editors scold him for it. In 2017, he debuted with the novel Project Kronos, followed by the second part, Kronos's Children (2019). He stepped outside this successful series with the enthusiastically received superhero thriller Meta (2020). ONDŘEJ NOVÁK A native of Hradec Králové, he gained theatrical experience from the age of six in a drama club, later in the Jesličky Theatre and the Klicper Theatre, which he successfully capitalised on during his entrance exams to the Theatre Faculty of JAMU. After graduating in Dramatic Acting, he became a member of the drama company at the National Theatre Brno, where he spent more than 13 seasons. Kalafuna, Figaro, Danceny, or the Witch in Hansel and Gretel were roles he performed on the stage of the beautiful Mahen Theatre. Besides theatre, he also did voice-over work, recorded radio and TV commercials, and hosted the afternoon show on Radio Kisshády, where he also served as programme director or creative manager for several years. Today, he is a freelance actor and presenter, the voice of the TV show Autosalon, he voices and creates commercials for radio, TV, and the internet, is interested in marketing and copywriting, and tries to read fairy tales to his children every evening.
