The Last Cry
Were they looking for death, or did she find it herself? Lexi Bennett's second case.
Detective Lexi Bennett is walking through the streets of Canterbury when she hears screams. The body of a teenage girl is found lying under one of the city's towers. Did she jump, fall, or get pushed? Olivia's desperate parents say their daughter, a talented musician, had no reason to kill herself - and so does Lexi's nephew Sam, who knew Olivia. When a similar incident occurs, Lexi decides to prove that it is the work of a serial killer. Can she stop him before the ruthless killer targets her family too?
In The Last Cry, readers can meet Inspector Lexi Bennett for the second time from the pen of Alison Belsahm
