The Ninth Man
An action thriller with a hint of conspiracy (not just) for fans of Cotton Malone
Luke Daniels is enjoying some time off in London after another successful job for the Magellan Billet when he gets a call from his old friend Jillian Stein, who has got herself into trouble. She made a mistake and now her life is in danger. She needs help immediately. Luke heads to Belgium, where he clashes with an armed team of trained agents. This throws him into the middle of a war between two irreconcilable sides – one searching for historical truth, the other trying to escape the past.
Thomas Rowland is Washington's grey eminence, a problem solver, but also a man with a mysterious past. His current position stems from the events in Dallas, Texas, on 22 November 1963. What we know from the history books happened very differently. There is classified information about the events of that day, in which Rowland plays a central role. He does not shy away from violence and will do anything to stop the world from learning what really happened on that fateful day. This puts anyone who poses a threat to him and his legacy in danger.
The adventurous journey takes us from Belgium through Luxembourg, the swamps of Louisiana and the wilderness of Wyoming to the Bahamas, where Luke finally meets the ninth man in person. All the while, he must confront a series of shocking truths that will not only rewrite history but also change his own life forever.
