The oppressive silence

Three people can keep a secret... if two of them are dead.

Maggie is a successful doctor and she and her husband Will are living exactly the life they dreamed of. One day, however, a man in familiar clothes is brought to the hospital. Maggie's life first stops and then turns upside down. Despite their best efforts, Will cannot be rescued and Maggie is convinced that he has been the victim of a burglary. But the police report is clear: Will pulled the trigger himself.

Maggie is overwhelmed by grief and the gnawing questions. Her husband wasn't suicidal. He had so much to live for. After the funeral, Maggie goes to their holiday home on a small Croatian island to escape reality. But reality catches up with her even in a deserted place, and it's much darker than she expected.

It all starts with a letter Will has written to her in case of his death, which contains clues revealing a terrible secret. As Maggie puts the pieces together, she discovers that Will's death is connected to someone from his past. Someone who'll do anything to shut her up too.
