The search for her in the freezing cold and snow leads him to a group of trampers, where he starts to piece together what happened, but several pieces of the puzzle are still missing. How and why did Marie disappear? Did she leave voluntarily, or was she abducted? In addition to the detective plot, Velinský's books captivate with their gentle humour and the atmosphere of the fifties and sixties.
