The Spirit of the Fly

Sometimes the best things happen by mistake. "I wish that Toadstool would get some kind spirit in him who won't scare the children, but will help them to sleep." But a wish is one thing. and its fulfillment is another matter. Even Agnes is convinced of this when her beloved Toadstool - the old pink sheet that protected her every night from bad dreams - falls into the hands of the kind and diligent but hardly confused fairy Plum. It only takes one word to change a wish and everything is completely different. Suddenly we have a great adventure that starts in the nursery and soars to Cloud City - a special world above the clouds where wishes are written, stamped and sent on. There it turns out that even an evil spirit can eventually enter a dream as the most loving companion. A magical story about an unexpected friendship born from a small mistake and a journey full of funny missteps, strange coincidences and strange creatures. "I wrote Ghost of Muchla for both children and parents because I think it's important for parents to enjoy reading children's books. The biggest inspiration for me was probably The Moomins." - from an interview with the author of the book. "The entire book is delivered with lightness and humor, while conveying an important message about the power of friendship and the fulfillment of dreams. If you are looking for a sweet, funny and imaginative story for your children or yourself that can grab your heart, The Ghost of Muchla is a great choice." - from reader feedback on Databazeknih.cz As quickly as the Plum puffed up, it flattened out. She turned back to the Admiral and, in a noticeably better mood, proudly read him her wish. At first the cat nodded his head cheerfully, but soon his smile was replaced by a thoughtful expression. "You, Plum, you're sure, that you spelled your wish correctly?" "Of course, I'm not that stupid, to get my first wish wrong!" replied the fairy with a good deal of self-confidence, but a little worm of doubt, that's been on her mind ever since she made the wish, got a little bigger. - excerpt from the book
