Take Command of Historical Units
Theatre of War focuses on the most faithful portrayal of battles on the European fronts. This is not an arcade action game, but a sophisticated simulator where every decision affects the outcome of the encounter. You will control detailed unit models that correspond to their historical counterparts. The game offers detailed command of all unit types, from individual infantrymen to coordinating artillery fire and air strikes. The maps are designed based on real locations. This contributes to the authentic atmosphere.
Follow Your Soldiers' Development in Extensive Campaigns
One of the main features of the game is the progression system for your soldiers. Units that survive battles gain experience and can be promoted. This improves their stats and combat abilities. This gives you a tactical advantage in subsequent missions. You will guide your soldiers through several story campaigns that allow you to experience the conflict from the perspective of different nations. A Soviet, German, French, and Polish campaign is available, each with its own missions and challenges.
