Tristan: Born from the Shadows
Vengeance beyond the grave
What does a man do when he finds his children and the rest of his family murdered? Most people would take their own lives to end the suffering. But Tristan is no longer a man. He is changing into something he doubted could even exist. He must fight the darkness within him quickly as he embarks on a journey of revenge. But his memory of that fateful night is stubbornly silent, and so he must piece together the mosaic of events during which he mysteriously lost his entire family. His desire for retribution will take him far beyond the limits of ordinary mortals. Limits that are also occupied by two very powerful witches, whose fate was written alongside Tristan's, and who are slowly but surely uncovering a shadow of betrayal spreading across the continent.
Welcome to a dark fantasy world, as if the Count of Monte Cristo had been born in the world of The Witcher.
Jiří Dittrich
In his own words, he was raised (like most of you) on fantasy series such as Charmed, Buffy, Relic Hunter, Power Rangers, Shaman King, Naruto, W.I.T.C.H., H2O: Just Add Water and others... He claims that all these projects logically sparked a great interest in the fantasy genre in him. As a child, he says he often hunted vampires, fought demons, morphed into a Power Ranger and summoned guardian spirits. He was eleven when he realised that he didn't just want to live these stories, but that he would also like to create one of his own. So he picked up a camera and forced his friends to make a film. Later, he got a digital camera and started on a larger scale. With his friend and younger brother, he shot and edited a total of six films, which reflected the plots of the series Charmed, Buffy and H2O. Then, at sixteen, came the biggest turning point. That was when he started writing his first book – the first volume of the Elementum series. A story about a young man who has the power to control the elements of nature and is the heir to the throne of a long-lost empire. This series was published between 2016 and 2024. This was followed by a more mature and darker fantasy – the Tristan series.
