PULLEY Before becoming a full-time writer, D. M. Pulley worked as a structural engineer and forensic investigator on the reconstruction of historic buildings. This interesting profession (and the author's passion) is also significantly reflected in her literary work, which currently consists of four successful crime thrillers. Following her debut, The Dead Key, for which she won the prestigious “Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award,” Pulley has written three similarly toned and equally successful novels (The Buried Book, No One's Home, The Unclaimed Victim), acclaimed by readers and critics alike. BARBORA GOLDMANNOVÁ She began to pursue acting at the Brno Conservatory, which was followed by studies at the Janáček Academy of Music and Performing Arts in the drama acting studio of Prof. Nika Brettschneiderová. During her studies at JAMU, she spent two semesters abroad at the prestigious London drama school, Rose Bruford College of Theatre and Performance. Since 2017, she has been a member of the Brno City Theatre. She regularly collaborates with Czech Radio. She also pursues acting in the English language within international projects, courses, and workshops.
