Examination and research of the brain

In this publication, the reader will find a brief overview of the most common methods that examine the human brain in health and disease. The aim is to present the possibilities of contemporary brain examination in an accessible and readable way, so that the reader can get a clear picture without being overwhelmed by technical or medical details. After an introduction to the principles of brain structure and function, the following chapters are devoted to specific examination methods - structural (X-ray, CT, MRI, etc. ) and functional (EEG, PET, SPECT, fMR, etc. ), all in connection with psychological practice.
