Convenient kit of two types of server memory modules DDR2 Fully Buffered DIMMs with capacity of 8 gigabytes It is designed for advanced performance systems, servers, and multiprocessor computers. It comes in a separate box packaging. Those memories are especially powerful servers to Fujitsu Siemens. They are designed for demanding use, supports Intel Single Device DataCorrection (SDDC), making them ideal for critical applications and critical servers.
Fully Buffered memory modules work like registered memory, but are based on fast serial architecture. The module is a separate circuit AMB - Advanced Memory Buffer, which controls access to individual memory modules and facilitates the work of memory controller on the motherboard or processor. Individual memory modules are connected via the series circuit to an external memory controller and possibly gradually to other modules.Memory outwardly behaves as a single chip, which handles read and write from individual memory cells and the controller forward to the outcome of these operations. This increases the efficiency of memory access and processing speed even when using multiple memory modules simultaneously. In addition, significantly simplifies the design of memory controller on the motherboard, drastically reduce the number of pins on the DIMM module and can easily be fitted substantially larger amounts of memory. Some server boards require Fully Buffered memory.
ECC technology controlled transparently and in real time the integrity of data stored in memory. Able to find and fix an error in one bit error and detect two bits. Some memory controllers can, in cooperation with ECC memory and correct errors of greater magnitude. Most server boards require ECC memory support.
