Dupla CO2 Reactor 500 for aquarium 500 l
The Dupla CO2 Reactor 500 is a device designed to dissolve carbon dioxide in water in aquariums up to 500 litres. It can be connected to an external aquarium filter using the included bypass system or operated with a separate pump with a maximum flow rate of 300 l/h. The Dupla CO2 Reactor 500 has the ability to adjust the size of the diffusion space by opening or closing the individual ventilation plugs, thus adjusting the capacity of the device to the size of the aquarium. The CO2 dissolution efficiency is influenced by three main factors, namely the carbonate hardness of the water, the water flow rate through the reactor and the size of the diffusion space. Higher carbonate hardness increases the need for CO2 to achieve the desired pH. Higher water flow and larger diffusion space contribute to more efficient gas dissolution.

Cleaning:
Remove the bottom strainer cap and pull the cascade out from underneath. Clean the inside of the reactor with the brush provided. A separate soft brush is included for cleaning the bubble counter.
